Anna Cristina Manalastas believes that yoga can be a wonderful approach towards having a meaningful relationship with oneself and others. Through the practice, one can develop self-awareness and mindfulness that can help the practitioner face internal and external challenges with compassion and discernment. Yoga is a powerful fitness and wellness technique which weaves exercise, meditation and breathing to create a sustainable and harmonious way of living and create a sense of safety and balance in the body.
Anna embarked on a journey to the United States to train under Budokon founder, Kancho Cameron Shayne and Melayne Shayne. She took her 50-hour Budokon Yoga teacher training with them in Miami and became an official Budokon Yoga teacher in February 2018. After two years of teaching the practice, she renewed her certification in February 2020.
